It’s prime time to hear the Primetime Emmy Nominees. The nominations will be announced on July 17 by previous winners Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph — two people who aren’t exactly compatible, but who both have a connection to Beyoncé, so maybe that’s where their small talk will be. It’s an especially interesting and potentially weird year given the lack of previous nominees eligible in the major categories, meaning that Best Show on Television (And just like that…) could finally come in and claim its rightful nominations. Or not. The Emmy Awards will be handed out on September 15, marking the second Emmy ceremony in 2024, due to the Writers Guild of America strike.
