50 Cent, Kid Rock and More Artists React to Gunfire at Trump Rally

50 Cent, Kid Rock and John Rich of Big & Rich are among the artists who have expressed concern on social media following the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday. The presumptive GOP presidential nominee was pulled from the stage after gunshots were fired. He is “safe” following the incident, the Secret Service said.

The suspected gunman fired multiple shots while outside the location where Trump’s rally was taking place, the agency said. The gunman is dead and one attendee has been killed, agency spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said. Two other attendees at the rally are in critical condition. After the incident, Trump described being “shot with a bullet that pierced the upper portion of my right ear.”

Kid Rock — an ardent supporter of Donald Trump, whom he calls “one of my best friends” — kept his message short and sweet in an Instagram video after the shooting. Appearing shirtless and wearing a “White Boy of the Year” baseball cap, he vehemently declared: “If you f*ck Trump, you f*ck me.”

Meanwhile, 50 Cent shared a social media post with a clip of his song “Many Men (Wish Death)” soundtracked by a photo of a defiant-looking Trump being led away from the meeting by the Secret Service. “I know the vibes,” 50 Cent wrote, “we all in trouble right now!” 50 Cent later shared a photoshopped version of the cover art for his debut studio album, Get rich or die trying, showing Trump’s head on the body of a 50-year-old.
