The singer didn’t hold back after the Osbourne family discussed her Instagram videos on their podcast and said they felt sorry for her
Britney Spears has responded after Ozzy Osbourne and his family commented on her dance videos on a recent episode of The Osbournes Podcast. In the episode, which aired on July 16, Osbourne said he was “sick of seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube. Every fucking day.” He added: “You know, it’s sad. Very, very sad,” as his family members agreed.
You know who disagrees? Spears, who posted a lengthy statement on Instagram saying she planned to “kindly tell the Osbourne family, the most boring family known to man, to fuck off!!!”
In the statement, Spears recalls Kate Beckinsale’s iconic romantic comedy Coincidence and praised the actress for standing up for herself on social media, writing that she thought it was “pretty badass” about Beckinsale responding to critics online, adding that “I hardly ever dance” and “I’m not poor!!!”
“I know what it’s like to be judged,” Spears wrote. “But I think it’s important to help each other and invite each other to places that help our souls grow!!!… What are you going to do to help someone and make their dreams come true other than be like me and Kate’s haters saying we’re too old or don’t have appropriate content??? Do you think they might be offended by what they see???”
The singer concluded her post by saying she hoped to do a photoshoot with Beckinsale before telling the Osbourne family to “fuck off.”
Spears later posted a second message on Instagram showing herself happily dancing.
The topic of Spears came up on the Osbournes’ podcast after a listener asked Kelly Osbourne if she would ever post TikTok dances. “I don’t know how to do TikTok dances,” she said. “I don’t know where anyone would ever think I would do that.”
Sharon Osbourne then jumped in, noting, “I feel like TikTok, when it first started, was just people doing silly dances. But now it’s grown into so much more.” Ozzy then voiced his opinion about Spears, and the rest of the family joined in. “I feel so sorry for her,” Kelly said, while Sharon called her a “poor little thing.”
