Saves hat company promoting its merchandise

Halie Welch sprang into action to save the hat company that was selling her “Hawk Tuah” merchandise… and spent some money to keep the business afloat.
Jason Poteetefounder of Fathead Threads, in Lewisburg, TN tells TMZ … Haliey recently loaned his company $10,000 during a time of great need, helping save the business.
While the brand “Hawk Tuah” hats The photos have been selling like hotcakes since Haliey went viral last month with her NSFW street interview, with Jason saying the majority of the $190,000 in sales has been tied up in a PayPal account.
Jason says he didn’t have access to the money. He says PayPal was convinced he was running a fraudulent business because of the huge amount of sales in such a short period of time. He also didn’t have enough money to fulfill the outstanding orders.

Haliey’s business partner says he had about 2,500 orders to process and only had $2,000 in his PayPal account available. He also needed more money to pay for production, shipping and other costs associated with processing the orders.
Jason says that at first he just asked family members for money and then went to the bank to get a loan so he could fulfill the orders. The stress of it all made him physically ill and anxious.
And then there’s Haliey.
Jason says he informed Haliey of the situation last Friday… she gets a cut of the proceeds from the Hawk Tuah merchandise and he tells us he didn’t want her to think he was holding her back financially.
After Haliey listened to Jason, he said she offered to lend him the $10,000 he needed to keep the business afloat, a stunning gesture that Jason said made him very happy.

Since Haliey’s loan, Jason says things have gotten a lot better at Fathead Threads…he says PayPal ultimately gave him $90,000 in revenue. He says he still has a lot more money in his account, but tells us there’s no doubt Haliey saved the business.
We have contacted PayPal but have not heard anything yet.
