A masked gunman walked into a McDonald’s in The Bronx and fired at least six rounds at his targets — a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old — before fleeing the scene Saturday night, police and law enforcement sources said.
The 12-year-old boy was hit in the back and left leg, while his male friend was shot in the left thigh in the brutal attack around 9:50 p.m. at the fast food restaurant on the corner of White Plains Road and Mace Avenue, police said.
According to police, both children are in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital Medical Center.
According to police sources, officers who arrived at the scene following a 911 call found the two injured victims outside.
The shooter was dressed in black and wore a black hoodie with a pink logo, they said.
According to sources, investigators found six shell casings at the crime scene.
According to police, the motive for the shooting is still being investigated.
