New Hampshire Marine Patrol is investigating a possible drowning after a Massachusetts man died Friday in a lake in Manchester, authorities said. Just before 7 p.m., multiple crews responded to Crystal Lake on a report of a drowning person. According to Marine Patrol, Amin Taheri, 33, of Cambridge, was swimming in the lake when a witness noticed he was missing. Witnesses found Taheri underwater. Life-saving measures were performed, but Taheri was eventually pronounced dead at a local hospital, officials said. Marine Patrol is investigating the death, which they say does not appear to be suspicious.
