Team USA continues its preparation for its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal with a series of exhibition matches against other teams before arriving in Paris.
On Wednesday, Team USA takes on Serbia, led by Denver Nuggets star and NBA MVP Nikola Jokic, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It will be a key test for a team led by LeBron James and Stephen Curry, with both teams also playing in Group C in France.
Team USA is looking for its third straight exhibition win after beating Australia 98-92 on Monday at Emirates Arena and defeating Canada 86-72 in Las Vegas last week. The team then heads to London for two more exhibition games, against South Sudan and Germany.
For the Olympics, Team USA will play three Group C matches in Lille on July 28 (Serbia), July 31 (South Sudan) and August 3 (Puerto Rico). The knockout rounds then move to Paris with the quarterfinals (August 6), semifinals (August 8) and gold medal match (August 10) at the Accor Arena.
